Each spring, Jain communities come together to celebrate the birth of Mahavir Bhagwan. YJA members across the country joined in! Performing skits and MCing cultural programs; participating in pujas and swapna darshans; volunteering to serve food – these are just some of the ways that young Jains were present at sanghs large and small. During these events, we also love to take the time to share our YJA stories, and both board members and LRs could be found speaking on stage and hosting tables to let their communities know exactly what YJA does for their youth.
Being present in local sanghs is just one way YJA works to strengthen the Jain youth community in the US and beyond. Support our work in growing the next generation of Jain leaders, today!
